What is Stewardship?
"As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace." 1 Peter 4:10
In the earliest days of the Church, stewardship was spoken and counselled upon. The church fathers recognized that in order for the church to succeed and assist her members, the members themselves would need to use their God-given talents and blessings for the benefit of others. Stewardship is the the grateful response of a Christian disciple who recognizes and receives God's gifts and shares in the love of God and neighbor. We all have something to give. It could be money. It could be a talent. It could be time. It could be any combination. It should be the best of what God has given you.
